Welcome to Stories from Radiant Rise: A Place for the Parts of Life We Don’t Always Talk About

Welcome to Stories from Radiant Rise

There are some parts of life that don’t fit neatly into an inspirational quote.

The messy parts.

The exhausting parts.

The moments when you’re doing everything you can just to keep going—and nobody around you realizes how much effort that actually takes.

There are also the good parts. The tiny breakthroughs. The ridiculous moments. The things you eventually learn to laugh about. The days when you suddenly realize that something that once completely broke you doesn’t have quite the same power over you anymore.

That is what I want this space to be about.

Welcome to Stories from Radiant Rise.

How Radiant Rise Began

Radiant Rise started with my own story.

For years, I found myself navigating experiences that changed me in ways I never expected—chronic illness, pain, mental health struggles, motherhood, relationships, grief, medical appointments, starting over, learning more about the way my own brain works, and trying to figure out who I was underneath all the roles I had spent years filling for everyone else.

For a long time, so much of it stayed private.

Eventually, I started writing.

Then I started sharing.

And somewhere along the way, I realized something:

The things we’re most afraid to talk about are often the exact things someone else desperately needs to hear.

That realization became a huge part of Radiant Rise.

Why I Created This Blog

I already share through my books and the Radiant Rise with Michelle Baldwin podcast, but there are things I want to talk about that don’t necessarily need an entire book or podcast episode.

Sometimes it might be something I’ve learned.

Sometimes it might be something I’m still trying to understand.

Sometimes I may share resources that have helped me, lessons from experiences I’ve gone through, updates about Radiant Rise, or thoughts that simply won’t leave my brain until I write them down.

And sometimes?

It may just be one of those “Does anybody else do this, or is it just me?” conversations.

I don’t want this to become another corner of the internet where everything has to look polished and figured out.

Because I definitely do not have everything figured out.

I’m learning as I go, too.

What You’ll Find Here

Stories from Radiant Rise will grow right alongside everything else I’m creating.

You can expect conversations about healing and personal growth, chronic illness and invisible struggles, mental health, motherhood and relationships, ADHD and autism, boundaries and people-pleasing, grief and starting over, self-discovery, books and writing, behind-the-scenes pieces of Radiant Rise, and the ordinary moments that somehow teach us something about ourselves.

Some posts will be deeper.

Some will be practical.

Some may be funny.

And some might simply say:

“This happened to me too. You’re not the only one.”

Because sometimes that is exactly what we need to hear.

I’m Not Writing From the Finish Line

This part matters to me.

I’m not creating Radiant Rise because I’ve reached some magical point where everything in my life is healed, organized, peaceful, and perfectly understood.

Far from it.

I’m creating it while I’m still living it.

Still learning.

Still changing my mind.

Still discovering things about myself.

Still having good days and terrible ones.

Still figuring out what healing actually looks like when real life keeps happening at the same time.

And I think there’s value in talking about the middle of the story—not just looking backward once everything has worked itself out.

Maybe You’ll See a Little of Yourself Here

Our stories don’t have to be identical for us to recognize something in each other.

Maybe you know what it feels like to live with something other people can’t see.

Maybe you’ve spent years taking care of everyone else and recently realized you disappeared somewhere along the way.

Maybe you’re learning how to set boundaries without immediately feeling guilty about them.

Maybe your brain works differently than you were taught it was “supposed” to.

Maybe you’re starting over.

Maybe you’re grieving.

Maybe you’re healing.

Or maybe you’re simply trying to understand yourself a little better than you did yesterday.

Whatever brought you here, I hope something you find within Radiant Rise makes you feel a little more understood.

Not because I have all the answers.

But because sometimes knowing someone else has been there matters.

This Is Only the Beginning

I have so much I want to build here.

More stories.

More resources.

More conversations.

More books.

More podcast episodes.

And probably a few ideas I haven’t even thought of yet.

Radiant Rise has already grown beyond what I originally imagined it would be, and I’m excited to see where it goes next.

So welcome.

Really.

I’m glad you found your way here.

Healing isn’t always a straight line. Growth doesn’t always look graceful. And sometimes rising simply means choosing to keep going.

That counts, too.
